What can Synitech do for my Open Source Medical Project?
Synitech provides the full Open Sourced code required for interfacing with the Synitech billing network. We provide the industry's first truly Open Standard, the Open Medical Billing Standard, allowing you to code your medical software without worrying about the technical details of billing and claims processing.
How do you participate?
The Open Medical Billing Standard specification is a standard XML DTD document compliant with the HIPAA-mandated ASC X12 837A claims processing format. Your Open Source program generates XML claims templates, including ICD-9 and CPT codes as well as the required patient demographic information, and posts this information via secure 128-bit RSA SSL HTTP upload to our secured server. Healthcare providers using your Open Source project(s) then establish a relationship with an Open Architecture-compliant billing company to process their claims online.
