LEASE AGREEMENT 2003-2004

1. This contract between Tiger Rentals and the above name lessee is for the purpose of leasing the items indicated on the contract.

2. The period of the lease will begin on the day of delivery and run until May 22nd, 2004.

3. If the appliance is not accessible (due to a locked door) on the day of pick-ups, the lessee will forfeit the deposit.

4. If the lessee wishes to end the lease prior to the May 22nd, 2004, refunds will be prorated at the manager's discretion. Any unauthorized transfer of rented items will result in the lessee being charged for the replacement cost for a new unit.

5. Tiger Rentals assumes full responsibility for wear, tear, and faulty equipment and shall replace faulty equipment within 48 hours. The lessee shall be responsible for all other damage resulting to the unit through misuse, negligence, theft, or loss of the unit regardless of the circumstances. Tiger Rentals shall be the sole determinant of whether damage to the unit was a result of wear and tear or misuse. It is agreed to that the terms of the Undergraduate Announcement (including that which makes students subject to suspension whenever payments are not made on schedule) apply to this contract. Tiger Rentals reserves the right to charge the lessee for the cost of repair or replacement in the event of any form of misuse.

6. It is the responsibility of the lessee to notify Tiger Rentals of any change of address and/or telephone number as soon as possible. Failure to do so will result in the lessee's account being billed for the replacement cost of the unit.

7. The following replacement costs are agreed to: 13" TV = $100, 20" TV = $150, 25" TV = $200, VCR = $100, DVD = $200. Refrigerators less than 3.0 cubic feet = $150, and less than 5.0 cubic feet = $200.

8. The lessee agrees to pay the specified amount for the rental of chosen units. Billing this amount should take place prior to the lessee taking possession of the unit. If the lessee should be delinquent in payment the leaser has the right to cancel the contract and reclaim the unit. There will be a $25 fee for bounced checks. If remote controls are not returned Tiger Rentals reserves the right to keep the deposit. Any lessee returning a unit after the specified date of return will be charged a $30 late fee per unit.

9. If a fridge is very dirty (at the discretion of any Tiger Rentals staff member) then the lessee will forfeit the deposit.

10. Should any of the above conditions not be met Tiger Rentals reserves the right to retain the deposit or if that is not sufficient then bill the lessee's credit card or student account for the appropriate amount.
