Manager:
Ellie Harrison '04 - eharriso@princeton.edu Telephone: (609) 258-7064 Services: We provide the only complete coverage of the campus anytime or any day at the lowest prices.
We
cater to recruiting companies, to campus groups, to faculty,
and to students. Run
by students, for students, we
offer timely, customized service, so whether you need to publicize
an event, or just get the word out...we deliver. The Student Delivery Agency has four types of positions open: - Regular route delivery: These employees work three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Each deliverer has a regular flier delivery route and can be delivering between 1 to 3 fliers per delivery. Pay for this position is based upon piecework: those with longer routes get paid more. A typical upperclass route takes 45 minutes for one flier and pays about $7.50, the same route with two fliers takes about 10 minutes longer and pays 50% more, three fliers pay double. Two fliers are average for a delivery and residential college route deliveries pay more than upperclass delivery routes. - Poster delivery: These employees are responsible for posting fliers around the campus in designated high-traffic areas. The job pays $10 per 50 posters, is extremely flexible, and is for the student who has a little extra time to make some extra money but may not always be available for a regular route. - Mailbox delivery: These employees are responsible for delivering fliers to upperclass mailboxes at Frist Campus Center. Mailbox stuffing takes approximately one hour and pays $10 or more. This position is steadier than poster delivery but less demanding than the regular routes. - Special projects/subs: Many special projects arise during the course of the year such as phonebook delivery in the fall and spring. In addition, substitute deliverers are needed. Special projects and sub-work pay more than the regular deliveries. If you are interested in a job that's a low commitment and high cash, then this is the agency for you. Our jobs can be structured around academic and social time very easily. Also, deliveries do not normally take place during "crunch" times, like most of reading period or any of finals. You can do your deliveries at 3:00 am or 3:00 pm, depending on what is convenient for you. |
